United Nations lines up instead of stablemate Andean, and gets the nod over his three rivals, all of whom also won last time out. Maybe Andean is considered too much of a baby still, but he should be noted when turning out en-route to a crack at the Vodafone Derby, and in his absence it is left to United Nations to do the honours. He looks a nice sort judged on his Newmarket debut win, but according to his trainer, will not get much more than a mile and a quarter, so will not be seen at Epsom. This will tell us more about what he is capable of though, and he is preferred to Putra Sas. The latter opened his account on fast ground at York last October and by all accounts has been working well at home. He has stamina in his make up on the dam's side and should go well for Kieren Fallon. Thajja was put away after his successful introduction at Newmarket last summer and has wintered well, while Warrad's reputation preceded him to Newbury last October as he was sent off favourite and duly dispatched of Zonus. By Kingmambo, out of a full-sister to Bach, he holds a Dante entry and will be of interest if going close here, which he may well do, but we shall put our faith in United Nations.
