A typical Sandown sprint in which getting a position and obtaining a run will be paramount. Macdillon is the archetypal hold-up sprinter and runs here regularly but he's only won once since the summer of 2011 and Richard Hughes will need to be masterful to get him home. Eleusis has plenty of weight and didn't get a clear run here two starts ago but went well at Newbury last time and is one of the few potential improvers on show. Alpha Delta Whisky, Pucon and BRAZEN SPIRIT were all on the mark last time and it's the latter, winner of two of the last three, who makes most appeal off a workable mark from which the Cox inmate should progress again. Shackled N Drawn went close last time at Doncaster and is the other who looks open to improvement and should get involved.
