Valadero’s best effort so far came over the minimum trip and The Line also steps up from 5f on his return from an absence having been gelded. Charlie Appleby sent out last year’s winner and Duke's Command cost 1.6 million guineas as a yearling. The latter’s dam is related to Group 1 winners while King's Fountain, Winterfair and Extra Beat are other newcomers to note.
