Fanfair has run well in defeat since winning at Bath and Lingfield in July. Dubaitwentytwenty had to be ridden out to land a Newcastle maiden in January and hasn’t raced since but Ancient Longing may fare better now handicapping, though looked beaten when hampered at Goodwood last time. LINE OF BEAUTY was no match for the odds-on Fibonacci at Haydock earlier this month but possibly didn’t last home. She was second over this trip at Chelmsford earlier and should be involved in the finish here. Ghinia is pretty consistent but her losing run now stretches back almost two years.
