In depth

Verdict

DIAVOLO is by Dubawi and the first foal to race of Nassau Stakes winner Sultanina. This is a good starting point for a colt who could be one to follow and he is taken to get the better of form pick Counsel, who was only headed close home on his reappearance at Newbury but won’t necessarily improve for a step up in trip, and Ensured, who might do better over 1m4f. Our New Buddy looks the pick of the remainder.
