Another tough race to call as many arrive here with solid claims. The shortlist includes: Curtins Hill, who has been banging on the door of late and could easily run into a place if he runs to form, El Homre Del Rio, who is progressing nicely in this sphere, and the oddly-named Steve The Fish, who proved his resolution for a battle when winning a dour battle at Towcester on his penultimate start. However, they will all do to concede weight to Roddy The Vet and Albert Ennis' charge gets the vote here. The six-year-old has been running consistently well during his outings this term and looked set to collect until his rider dropped his whip on the run to the last at Leicester last month. Leighton Aspel is sure to take every measure to ensure that there are no such mishaps this time around and he has the ideal opportunity to give the well handicapped Roddy The Vet every chance to finally break his duck on these shores today.
