Verdict

A competitive handicap chase here with many in form rivals in opposition including Koquelicot Ibis Rochelais and Prominent Profile and the vote goes Koquelicot.. The six-year-old has done nothing but improve this season and won well last time out at Kempton when defeating Red Blazer and if he sees out this longer trip he will be hard to beat. Ibis Rochelais rates the main danger he was a good second behind Royal Predica in the Kim Muir last season and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat but he may just need the run after an absence. Prominent Profile is also worthy of respect he was a fair second behind Newick Park last time and is sure to be suited by the step up in trip. Of the remainder Skycab is from a yard that is in top form now and he could run better than his starting price would suggest but for the winner we return to the progressive Koquelicot.
