Verdict

There only seems to be one conclusion to this and that is that TREADWELL should take all the beating on these terms leaving Starwatch and Cumulus Nimbus fighting for minor honours. Now with an official rating of 98, the selection ran a cracker to finish fifth in the Coventry at Royal Ascot and returned to action to chase home Al Zir at Doncaster last week. He clearly sets the standard. Starwatch defied a huge price to chase home a decent sort in a conditions race at Windsor last time. He is of interest if the progression continues here. Cumulus Nimbus has 10lbs to find on the selection according to the official ratings and on these terms his chances look slim and with not much else in the field holding realistic claims we're happy to stick with Treadwell.
