      Verdict

      Sir Busker finished runner-up in a Group 3 at Salisbury last month but Perotto wasn’t far behind. The latter faced a tougher task in the Celebration Mile at Goodwood last time while MOSTAHDAF (NAP) was badly hampered in the St James’s Palace Stakes at Ascot. The Gosden colt had won a Listed contest over track and trip before that and the Champion Stakes entry gets another chance in this. Brunch beat Rhoscolyn at Pontefract earlier but Bell Rock ran well for second in a Group 3 at Haydock and makes more appeal. The Hannon yard has won three of the last four renewals but Qaysar arrives out of form.
