        Verdict

        In a tricky finale, Folio is selected ahead of Seabow and Rule Of Life. Folio has not been faring too well this season but showed signs of a revival at this track last time out. Given that he is now four pounds below his winning mark of last November, he might be worth siding with today. On only his second Flat run for 10 months, Zonergem finished a good second at Beverley last time. Much as he does not find a lot off the bridle, he is weighted to go well on his best form. Lightly raced, Seabow has only had two runs in 10 months but has form enough to be given a solid shout today, while Active Asset is well-weighted based on his Windsor form of May, although he has been for two or three runs now. Del Mar Sunset has to get a mention given that he now races from a pound below his May Newmarket winning rating, and Brief Goodbye's best recent effort came over course and distance, on which form he canot be ruled out. Finally, Rule Of Life's third to the progressive Cravel last time was not a bad effort given that the track appeared not to suit him. He can fare better on this one but, in an open race, the selection is Folio.
