Almodovar is by Sea The Stars and is the first foal of a mare who was second in a Listed race over this trip. He's an interesting newcomer but may just need the experience. Higher Power, Master Of Speed and Mr Quicksilver have all shown ability in better company while Grand Inquisitor could give Harold Lloyd's third at Nottingham a boost in the previous race. Fern Owl ran green at Windsor but kept on well in the closing stages, though has ground to make up on second ATAMAN. Held up that day, Roger Charlton's colt was forced to make his challenge out wide and could go one better if getting the run of the race today.
