Verdict

Candleford finished well beaten at Newbury though the winner has gone in again and subsequent Derby runner-up Mojo Star was second. KHAIZ finished behind a subsequent dual winner at Doncaster on his debut back in March but, with improvement expected for a yard in flying form, the full brother to the high-class Ghaiyyath gets the vote. Ryan Moore gets the leg-up on Salisbury third Betty Crean L A while the Frankel colt Poet Of Life and Hang Up are newcomers to note.
