Lady Harriet lines up on the back of a recent victory and can make her fitness tell over the reappearing Back To Ben Alder and Nyrche. Lady Harriet emphasised the well being of Nick Gifford's yard when opening her account at Plumpton recently. She was expected to go well, having been jumping out of her skin at home, and was given a fine ride by James Davies who made sure that she found the better ground at the Sussex track. The faster conditions at Sandown will suit her, and she is taken to beat Back To Ben Alder who may need the run. Reportedly Nicky Henderson's best bumper horse when making a winning debut at Kempton, he then only beat one home in Liberman's Festival Bumper last March and has been off since. He has taken time to prepare and now is the time to oppose him. Nyrche makes his British debut and has apparently settled in well. Connections are hopeful that he will run well, while Spike Jones must not be discounted now that Jonjo O'Neill is back in top form. We feel that with too many ifs and buts about her opponents, Lady Harriet is the best proposition.
