Our Jonathan just got the better of Mon Cadeaux at Chester last time but this track poses a different test, while Crown Choice is 10lb higher than when winning this race last year after scoring over 6f at Goodwood three weeks ago. Namecheck is proving hard to keep right and his recent poor comeback effort leaves a question mark hanging over him and the same comment applies to Suited And Booted, who hasn't shown anything like last season's progressive form in a couple of starts this year. However, LAW OF THE RANGE is going the right way judged on her recent win at Ascot and, though she'll need to improve again to land this prize, Marco Botti's charge looks capable of doing so. The lightly-weighted Perfect Silence and Saint Pierre are others with claims.
