Verdict

Dark And Dangerous won on this card last year and is starting to come down the weights again. Lemon Drop Kid ran well on his reappearance at Chepstow until tiring and will strip fitter here while General Ting easily won a conditionals' race at Kempton on Monday and goes unpenalised for that success. One Term has already won three times this season but regular pilot A P McCoy prefers Valid Reason, who is fit from the Flat, though he has a big weight to carry. CHESHIRE PRINCE ran a blinder when chasing home the smart Vulcanite at Fakenham. He's had his problems since winning this two years ago but is well handicapped as a result and probably the one to beat today if Amy Downie has him back to his best.
