BLACK BESS returned a cosy three-length winner at on the Turf at Lingfield last week and 6lb extra may not be enough to anchor her in this. Newmarket maiden winner Palenville never figured in the Albany at Ascot when last seen in action and returns from a lengthy absence but Dynamic Girl made a winning start at Chepstow last month, albeit in soft ground. Beleave showed good progress on the all-weather earlier this year and will find this easier than the All-Weather Championship race she competed in last time but Wowcha has yet to figure in handicaps since winning her maiden win at Pontefract in April.
