Verdict

CENTURIUS was foiled by Chieftain’s Choice here last month but went one better at Ludlow subsequently. As that was a conditionals’ race, he can race off the same mark today so a follow-up looks to be on the cards. Kastani Beach won this in 2015 when 8lb higher and was second last year. Erica Bridge was on board on both occasions and is reunited with Seamus Mullins’ gelding again and the pair can’t be ignored. Silverhow should be capable of better than he’s shown so far but Little Jimmy hasn’t raced over hurdles since 2012 with all of his form coming over the larger obstacles.
