Verdict

YOUNG FIRE will relish conditions and a high draw could be an advantage if the field, as expected, heads for the stands’ rail up the home straight. David O’Meara’s charge was running well off higher marks over this trip in the summer, though he’s closely matched with Marshal Dan on Haydock running in July. Tomfre has slipped down the weights this year but Ataser looks to be back in the handicapper’s grip and that may also be the case with Percy's Lad, who had a plum draw at Chester last time. Ascot Adventure has claims, however, along with Stone Soldier.
