In depth

Verdict

Collectors Item was a useful hurdler but he’s not really taken to fences so far and is now tried in cheekpieces but Robyndzone made a winning return to action at Ludlow and ANIMAL ran well at Leicester. The latter pair step up a grade for this but Suzy Smith’s charge will relish a return to 3m and the in-form Gavin Sheehan is back in the saddle. Midnight Mary should have come on a bundle for her run at Plumpton while soft ground suits Jet Plane but Wincanton winner Huelgoat may find stamina is an issue on this stiff track. My Silver Lining has won on heavy ground and is in form but is probably better suited by quicker conditions so Wetherby scorer Not Sure may be the pick of the remainder.
