Jukebox Jive and Sussex Ranger both made winning starts over hurdles at Fontwell but Anthony Honeyball’s charge holds the latter on collateral form and also has the beating of Quothquan. He does have to give 5lb to some potentially-useful juveniles, however, including three winners on the Flat. Night Of Glory was rated 96 on the level and stayed at least 1m4f, as did First Quest though he was rated 25lb lower. TOMMY HALLINAN never finished out of the frame in Ireland and won a rated race at Cork in May. He is now with Paul Nicholls and closely related to a winning hurdler so can make a winning debut over jumps.
