Verdict
Richard Hannon has three entered in this opener but Usain Colt may not take his chance if the ground deteriorates further and Red Seventy and North Star Boy have a bit to prove on this year's form. A high draw may have scuppered the hat-trick chances of dual Salisbury winner Ivor's Princess while Kempton runner-up Dutch Supreme is also berthed out wide. So is Chepstow scorer Rocky Reef, who is also a couple of pounds out of the handicap, and Signor Sassi keeps finding one too good despite starting favourite on all four career starts. Dutch Old Master never figured at Newmarket last time but Johnno is usually thereabouts and TIDENTIME is starting to look well handicapped. Mick Channon's colt has his sights lowered after contesting the Britannia Handicap at Ascot last month and could be allowed at decent odds here.
