A huge field full of familiar names for this series finale. Indy Five finished just behind CHIRICO VALLIS on similar terms at Wetherby last month. The runner-up in that race went on to finish a close second in the Mandarin at Newbury and Neil Mulholland’s charge, a proven stayer who likes the mud, may have been laid out for this. Last year’s winner Prime Venture was behind Indy Five and Saint Xavier in a qualifier at Newbury last March but is better off at the weights with both and Evan Williams has been protecting his handicap mark this season. This trip on soft going may be too far for Ballyandy but stamina isn’t an issue for either Ramses De Teillee or Snow Leopardess and Run To Milan could outrun bigger odds.
