Verdict

Overthetop is improving and defends an unbeaten record but Enrilo’s bubble was burst at Ludlow, where he finished a long way behind the front-running House Island. Ofalltheginjoints won well at Chepstow before narrowly failing to defy a penalty at Kempton and makes more appeal than the mare Emmas Joy and Lingfield scorer Up The Straight but this Grade 2 can go to HAPPYGOLUCKY (NAP). The latter’s third in the same grade at Cheltenham is easily the best form on offer and he’s unlikely to be inconvenienced by today’s slightly quicker surface.
