Verdict

James Bowen keeps the ride on BOLD REACTION having partnered the gelding in both starts in bumpers. Also a winning pointer, the switch to hurdles won’t be a problem. Nico de Boinville partners stablemate Boom Boom, who has also shown ability, and Paul Nicholls runs Matterhorn, who has a lengthy absence to overcome but could be a nice prospect. Colonel Harry may not appreciate a drop in distance so Plumpton second Our Champ may be the pick of the remainder.
