SANTEFISIO may be the answer to a tricky handicap where cases can be made for most of the field. Cyflymder and the unexposed Santefisio were separated by only a nose at Newmarket and the Makin gelding could well reverse the form as he's a pound better off and is arguably open to more improvement after just three career starts. Cyflymder also benefited from a fine front-running ride on that occasion whereas the runner-up had to thread his way through the pack and was in front just yards after the line. Maswerte was quite well backed late on prior to running out a ready winner at Newbury on his handicap bow; he's 6lbs higher but should have more to offer and is promising. He rates highly. Standpoint was found a weak race in which to break his duck although the soft ground is a possible excuse for a below par run on his most recent start. His trainer is never underestimated but others boast more solid profiles. Deadly Encounter and Hail Promenader look vulnerable to some of the less exposed runners but Floor Show enters calculations with the yard enjoying their best spell of the season. He only narrowly missed out behind a Cumani runner and should still be competitive from his revised mark but preference is for Santefisio.
