Verdict
Bright New Dawn shaped with promise on his first start for Venetia Williams here last month but did finish a couple of lengths behind a back-to-form Bold Henry in the race won by the latter’s stablemate Garde La Victoire. Ubaltique kept on well to score at Haydock two weeks ago but had earlier finished second to the improving Dream Bolt at Chepstow and is 4lb worse off. GREY GOLD (NAP), who won this in 2014 and holds Ultragold on these terms, should be approaching peak fitness after a couple of runs and rallied well behind Just Cameron last time at Wetherby. He won off a higher mark last season and retains enough ability to give younger rivals a run for their money. Pearls Legend is normally consistent but disappointed last time.
