Verdict

Planned Paradise appears to have had limitations exposed recently. Gwencily Berbas stays well and was the stable second string when well beaten at Warwick on his reappearance. Quick Wave has won over 3m1f on soft and heavy ground so should stay while Deise Aba was only beaten a nose in this last year, seven lengths ahead of third Eclair De Guye. Revels Hill ran well at Ascot over a trip too short and Kevin Brogan is 3-5 on Harry Fry’s improving stayer but there is almost certainly more to come over fences from IN REM, who should relish this trip if handling these tricky fences.
