Verdict
Bouvreuil has his first run for Paul Nicholls but did win at Enghien in November and Sean Bowen takes off 5lb. Rayvin Black could also be interesting off bottom weight but Desert Recluse was beaten in a claimer at Ludlow last time while Rock On Rocky blotted his copy-book at Ffos Las. The ground may be to soft for veteran First Avenue but Balgarry was well backed at Ascot two weeks ago and could be a factor if settling better in this. He makes more appeal than Leviathan and Song Light, who has been upped 10lb for scoring at Huntingdon though Kevin Jones claims 7lb again. AMORE ALATO (NAP) has been raised 3lb since finishing second to Snake Eyes over course and distance four weeks ago but he had Leviathan well behind that day and the fourth and fifth have won competitive handicaps since. Nick Williams' charge can go one better today.
