      Verdict

Potapova won this in good style last year but hasn’t matched that level of form in subsequent starts and COPPICE (NAP) is preferred. The latter won the Sandringham on fast ground at Ascot in June but was set a stiff task in the Group 1 Falmouth Stakes last time and this looks more her level for now. Stablemate Queen For You finished behind Midnight Mile when the latter won a Listed race over a longer trip at York but Heredia beat Purplepay in Listed company at Haydock. Fast going is a worry for Roman Mist while the unbeaten Nibras Angel is thrown in at the deep end having won a novices race at Thirsk last time.
