        Verdict

        Ledham is a 200,000gns brother to 1m2f winner Global Force and a half-brother to three other winners, including the useful Yamal. It would be no surprise to see him go close on debut and he’s preferred to the Richard Hannon pair Strategic and Galactic. Connect kept on under hands and heels over track and trip in June and is entitled to progress but this can go to WESTERLAND. The Frankel colt found Listed company too hot to handle at Ascot last time but an earlier win at Leicester has worked out well and he’s worth another chance.
