In a competitive sprint, Cashel Mead is taken to score, with Ingleton and Sentiero Rosso also given good mentions. Cashel Mead is on such a roll that a five pounds rise for her Goodwood win might not stop her winning again and, from her good draw, can go well. Course and distance winner The Jobber is on a winning mark, although his low draw might not be the best. Awitesweetheart will prefer tonight's trip to the six of Windsor last time and could go well as she is all speed. Mutawaqed is well weighted based on 2004 form and seemed to show a bit more sparkle last time, while Harrison's Flyer is edging back towards a winning mark, but Logsdail's wins have come over further. Zarzu is well weighted on old form and he is also weighted to beat The Jobber based on a recent all-weather run. Sentiero Rosso is back to a winning mark from last June, while Ingleton looked to be heading back to form at Newbury last time and can go well from his current rating. Finally, Extremely Rare now races from a pound below her winning mark of last season, so is respected, and Vague Star would hold claims if repeating his best on Turf of last season, although recent efforts do not hold out too much hope in this respect. Much as Spliff is well-weighted on 2004 form, he would be hard to strongly fancy today; not so with the well-drawn Cashel Mead, who gets the vote.
