This is a class renewal of this race, with a field full of possible winners. However, You're Agoodun is fancied to earn a quick double off top-weight. He won convincingly over three miles last time out at Ascot and is a proven performer at the top level. Gunther McBride, third in last season's Scottish Grand National, could also be in with a shout. He won't mind the soft ground and was only beaten nine lengths by Be My Royal in the Hennessy after winning at Kempton. Tom Scudamore has an excellent chance to shine on board Iris Bleu. This seven-year-old was third in this race last season and went on to finish fifth to Bounce Back in the attheraces Gold Cup. He has plenty of course experience and showed he still stays the trip when winning at Cheltenham last time out. A progressive sort to keep your eye on is Lord Jack. He's been running well in his novice chasing season, winning three of his four starts, most recently beating The Rile at Ayr. If he can continue to improve he could sneak into the places. Frosty Canyon has so far failed to reproduce the form that saw him win twice over fences last season and finish second in a Grade 2 race at Newbury. However, he shaped better last time to finish fourth in the Welsh National, which could signify a return to winning ways.
