Mr Tyrrell went closest last time at Leicester but soft ground is an unknown and he's starting to look exposed. Clemento is bred to stay further but has to be respected as he cost 240,000gns while Hajjam is another interesting newcomer. Hernandes has shown signs of ability but so has KOEMAN, who should be thereabouts if building a little on his fourth at Newbury 11 days ago. Redgrave is a likely improver and a similar comment applies to the Showcasing filly Eula Varner, who should appreciate the step up in distance. Sable Island has a very nice pedigree and will be one to follow next season, whatever happens today.
