      Verdict

      Songo is 5-9 on Turf and has a course and distance victory to his credit. He was beaten by a 33/1 chance on a return visit earlier this month but it will be a surprise if he's not thereabouts. THRONE HALL attempted to make all over this trip at Newmarket but had no answer when the in-form Charging Thunder went past. He's been dropped 1lb and a 7lb claimer has been booked so this looks a good opportunity. Ravens Ark beat Charging Thunder on fast ground at Lingfield in May before two decent efforts at Goodwood then didn't appear to take to Tapeta in the Northumberland Vase at Newcastle. Star Caliber was in good form throughout last summer without managing a victory. He was well supported on his return to action at Chester but weakened quickly after attempting to make all. Infastructure hasn't run since September 2020 but has won around here on fast ground.
