      Verdict

Ethic didn’t do much wrong on his debut at Newbury, staying on well from the rear behind a well-backed winner. That will have put an edge on the Haggas colt but MISS PAXMAN probably came up against some above-average fillies on her introduction at the same track and is another likely improver. With her allowance, she gets the nod. Stoweman and Castel Angelo may need the experience but are worth a market check given connections.
