The Defiant may well live up to his name, especially with in-form Rhys Clutterbuck on board, having retained form well this year. He handles Turf and the all-weather and should give another sound account. However, Q TWENTY BOY has also enjoyed a consistent time of things and has maintained form well the last twice despite operating off higher marks for recent regular pilot, Isobel Francis. We're Reunited recaptured form at Bath late last month and is still well below his career-high mark, so has to be taken seriously and could be interesting if backing up that improvement. Hattie C will find this tougher than the weak race she landed at Brighton but is still respected. Minhaaj found some form last time but is not easy to assess after looking to be on a downward spiral for a couple of years.
