Burnham is still 4lb higher than his last winning mark but made a promising reappearance at Windsor and might be suited by this step up in trip. The Quarterjack won over further at Bath earlier this month and Ivanhoe, who was successful over hurdles over the winter, scored narrowly at Warwick and is only 3lb higher. He also had Rosie Rebel behind at Chepstow earlier. Windsor third Opera Buff won over course and distance in October but that was on heavy going and he's 13lb higher now. TEAK's last victory came over track and trip in 2012 but he was keeping better company last year and shaped nicely at Doncaster last month. He might be worth risking in an open handicap.
