SEVENTH KINGDOM, an easy winner on debut, stayed on strongly to finish third in the Group 2 Superlative Stakes at Newmarket on his second start. That form has already been franked and John Gosden’s colt may be too classy for these. Cobh also won on debut and again defied market expectations when second in this grade at Ascot so shouldn’t be underestimated. The others have all won maidens as well and Knight Salute is capable of better though Haydock scorer Fancy Man is probably the pick and his chances would increase if the rains arrived.
