In depth

Verdict

Richard Hannon's two-year-olds are usually worth following here but neither Rain Dance nor Essexvale have shown a great deal so far, though are probably still open to improvement. Lady Heartbeat also has to step up on what she's achieved to date, but Rafaella was taking on better opposition at Newbury last time having finished second on her debut over C&D in June. Diamond Belle hinted at ability on her only start at Windsor but let's take a chance on newcomer MISTER MACKENZIE, who will stay further but is well drawn near the far rail. He wouldn't need to be a world-beater to win this.
