Mia Tesoro won in this grade at Nottingham in June but the last two winners of this - Billesdon Bess and CHAIN OF DAISIES (NAP) – face the starter again and both may have been aimed at the race. Henry Candy’s mare ran in a Group 2 on her reappearance and led for a long way next time at Ascot. She should be cherry-ripe now and can hold off younger rivals Rasima, Crystal Hope and Savaanah. Pleasant Surprise should strip fitter for a recent run at York and was just beaten in a Group 3 last season. Promising Run won two Group 2 races at Meydan at the start of the year but carries a penalty and hasn’t won in the UK since she was a two-year-old.
