It's hard to know what to make of Seolan, who scored twice two years ago in Ireland on heavy going. If Roger Charlton has her right then she could be very well treated under the race conditions. Tawhid has a penalty for his victory in a Listed contest at Newbury a year ago. He's only had three subsequent runs and ran well enough at Redcar last weekend behind Muteela to be a threat and he'll like the conditions. EMELL has a poor strike-rate for such a talented colt but he's a consistent performer at this sort of level who has won on soft ground at this track. The 5lb he receives from Tawhid may just swing things his way. His stablemates Annunciation and Red Refraction are useful handicappers taking on pattern race performers and nine-times winner Verse Of Love has a mountain to climb on official ratings to add to his tally.
