        Verdict

Compton Monarch was well beaten on his debut and though Devdas finished third on his first start he was still beaten 11 lengths so one of the newcomers should be up to winning this. Richard Hannon runs three and the pick of those looks to be BRONTERRE. He cost 110,000gns and entries in the upcoming sales races suggest he could be good enough to land this on his debut. Stablemate Amazing Storm is related to a couple of winners and could also figure, while Mitch Rapp has plenty of speed in his pedigree and is worth noting.
