Valencha is decent on her day but has been struggling to recapture her best this year. Free Verse won at Newmarket before finishing fourth in a Listed contest at Ascot but Richard Hughes appears to have deserted her in favour of Sylvester Kirk's MY SHARONA, who has been in cracking form lately. The grey continues to climb the weights but won a shade cosily at Goodwood last time and won't be inconvenienced by the slightly longer trip. Alice's Dancer beat Elusive Flame at Newmarket last month but there shouldn't be much to choose between the pair on today's revised terms while Baheeja and Dance Company have been thriving in lesser contests and shouldn't be disgraced at this level. Monday's penalised Ffos Las winner Fillionaire may find this too tough, however, while Askaud's best form is over further.
