Verdict

Cap Francais’ second at Newmarket in August was out of character with the rest of his form this year but Croeso Cymraeg, who holds Monteria on the form book, has already won here this season and has his ground again, though he was behind Wind Your Neck In at Sandown in July. BINT AL DAAR (NAP) was well backed in a Class 2 at Nottingham nine days ago and only failed by a head having led 1f out. He can race off the same mark here so is preferred to Battista, who couldn’t quicken when tried over this trip for the first time at Yarmouth.
