A hard-to-unravel early-season handicap in which all have some sort of chance. Love Tangle drops back in trip after a solid effort at Windsor and the Azamour gelding is expected to go well. Richard Hannon runs a couple of which The Alamo is the most streetwise. But CAPE WRATH looks to harbour the greatest scope for progress on the back of two highly promising juvenile efforts. Crucially, he handled soft ground with aplomb on both starts and can hit the mark first time up this season. Black Schnapps looked much improved at Doncaster last time on the soft and wouldn't be out of things on that evidence, despite a 7lb hike, while Template seems sure to improve this term and is of interest off bottomweight.
