      Verdict

      SALOUEN looks to have everything in his favour here. He is the highest rated of the quartet to have raced and improved again from his victory over an extended mile at Windsor to finish second in the Solario Stakes at Sandown 12 days ago. Sea Fox was third in a Listed race over course and distance last month but an earlier victory came over 6f. Deningy has been steadily stepping up in distance and got off the mark over 7f at Sandown but Devil's Bridge only had two rivals to beat at Newcastle, though has yet to run a bad race and his yard has won the last two of these and three of the last six. Mach One is a full brother to a 7f juvenile winner but is highly tried on debut.
