Cirrus Des Aigles failed in his bid to land a hat trick of Group 1 victories when dropped back in trip at Longchamp last month. Second in this contest last year he's sure to be thereabouts again but faces a couple of high-class fillies today. The returning Galikova won the Prix Vermeille Arc trial at Longchamp last season before coming unstuck in the main event won by today's rival DANEDREAM. Last year's Arc heroine also had Shareta and Meandre behind on that occasion and with last month's reappearance victory at Baden Baden under her belt, Peter Schiergen's filly looks the one to beat here.
