Vanada was very disappointing in a Listed race here in March having won her maiden on the track in November. She should find this easier but WAAHAAT’s supporters will also be looking to recoup losses. The Siyouni filly was impressive when making a winning start over course and distance in September and she didn’t appear to be enjoying the Polytrack when narrowly beaten at Deauville the following month. Black Fever improved with every run last year and may have more to offer this season. Coralie Pacaut’s claim will aid her cause but Mary France’s surprise victory in the spring came on the all-weather. Karankawa’s form last year was also modest.
