    In depth

    Verdict

Ralph Beckett has put Killarney maiden winner Malabu Drive in here to ensure a gallop for WESTOVER. The Irish Derby winner hasn't scored subsequently but defeats by the Japan superstar Equinox in Dubai and Emily Upjohn in the Coronation Cup were hardly disasters and this looks a good opportunity to get back on track. He easily holds German Derby winner Tunnes on Epsom form and the latter would need very testing ground to have a chance of a form reversal. Zagrey was a couple of lengths behind the selection at Meydan and it's difficult to see a form reversal while Junko has never raced over this far. The latter has been well beaten when tackling Group 1 company in the past but given connections it wouldn't be a shock to see major improvement over this trip.
