Shadows Return hasn't run since beating a big field at Cork last August on good going. Milomynit has done better over further but Kansas Kid won't mind the trip or ground and is on a low enough mark to make his presence felt. Clear Left was a surprise winner over 2m1f at Ballinrobe then led for a long way before weakening quickly when tackling 2m6f on the same track. King Christophe has had a couple of runs on the Flat since placed at Kilbeggan though was beaten 21 lengths that day while Banjo has been chasing. The latter is inconsistent but has form over this sort of trip on soft ground that puts him in the frame in a moderate contest. BLACKYELLOWRED looked a likely future winner when a close fourth at Limerick and was backed accordingly at Down Royal. He was reported to have swallowed kickback so that run should be ignored and he can gain compensation.
